DIVORCE COACHING AND PREPARATION COACHING FOR COURT MEDIATION

Mediation is a means of dispute resolution and available from the onset of friction between spouses, whether one wants a divorce or not. Often this can lead to resolving issues in the marriage or may well lead to divorce.  Mediators often work together with lawyers and counsellors/ therapists.  Dutring mediation, the Mediator is a neutral party who provides guidance for an agenda, ensures /participants have the opportunity to obtain advice from consulting or representing attorneys, helps mitigate the costs and fees fromn escalating unecessarily, encourages parties to be prepared for mediation  by providing  lists of information that will be needed, and also conducts mediation sessions, at the will of the participants, with the objective to reach agreement on specifies or all issues.  The Mediator notes the points reached in an agreement that participants may provide to attorneys for review, if they so choose.  In divorce these agreements are not binding until such time as drafted/ and/ orreviewed by attorneys and then signed by both parties in front of a notrary public.  The Agreements are then submitted by the Participants or thepir attorneys to the Court for judgment.

The issues covered in sessions include, amongst others:-
Transition Plans during diorce;
Custody and Visitation;
Child Support and Alimony;
Division of Community Property;
Co-Parenting and Visitation Plans;

Note: For all purposes the above includes dissolution or mediation of domestic partner relationships.
